There’s something to be said about living in Vermont – and especially living in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. Our corner of the state represents over 2,000 square miles of scenic and undisturbed locations. Bordered by Canada and northern New Hampshire, life in the Kingdom is quintessentially New England: small, charming towns and countrysides, access to four seasons of outdoor recreation activities, a vibrant local food presence, thriving arts and culture scene, and many close-knit communities.
The Kingdom is made up of three counties: Orleans, Essex, and Caledonia, each of which has its own unique characteristics. From sprawling farms and wide-open fields to towering mountains and lakeside retreats, living in the Northeast Kingdom opens up a world of possibilities.
