There’s a reason the Northeast Kingdom is known for its snowmobiling.

Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST)

Founded fifty years ago and one of the oldest snowmobiling organizations in the US, VAST is responsible for maintaining and grooming over 5,000 miles of snowmobile trails. VAST is a non-profit, private group that includes 127 clubs statewide, with over 24,000 members combined. The clubs, their steadfast volunteers, and the landowners that allow riders to cross their land are the backbone of the organization.
